I am just a girl from Castlecliff, the poorer suburb of Whanganui, who grew up believing that whatever you were born into was all your life would ever be. So I lived small. I wanted better for my children, yet somehow found myself living a life that was just as damaging to them as my childhood had been to me.

Just Another Housewife is about the woman I was - lost, hurting, and living a life that left deep scars.

A Road to Mauri Ora is about the woman I carved from all that hurt. It is about exposing truths I never had the strength to face, sitting with the ugly parts of my story, and turning what once wounded me into armour.

And Legacy is for our youth - for the people of tomorrow. It is a reminder to our rangatahi that they are valuable, that they matter, and that what they become does not have to be determined by where they began.
