Our Story and Mission

Ko Dandelion Ahau is a training and supervision service committed to ending family harm and strengthening whānau and communities across Aotearoa.

We work alongside social workers, practitioners, and organisations supporting people impacted by violence, trauma, and mental health challenges. Our approach is direct, honest, and unafraid to challenge the tough realities that exist within this work.

We don’t shy away from the hard conversations. We create spaces where practitioners are supported to reflect deeply, confront uncomfortable truths, and question the systems and practices that continue to cause harm.

Real change doesn’t happen on the surface. It happens when people are willing to look inward, take accountability, and grow.

Through our training, we equip practitioners with the awareness, confidence, and practical skills needed to show up differently—so their practice protects, uplifts, and creates lasting change for the people they serve.
